Come,
Sit,
And Be Present
Cultivating the invaluable practice of zazen meditation creates a deeper connection to ones true essence; awakening one to their innate wisdom and compassion.
I warmly welcome you to come and take your seat.
Cultivating our own meditative awareness through zazen offers us:
- the capacity to be with whatever arises in our lives.
- the opportunity to tap into our innate compassion which supports our emotional well-being.
- a calm and undistracted presence in the midst of the influxes of daily life.
- deeper insights, which translate into wiser choices.
Our meditation practice begins with clear instructions pertaining to posture, breath and focused attention. Leading into the core aspects of zazen meditation: dharana (concentration, single pointed focus), dhyana (zen mind, effortless, compassionate mind), and samadhi (indistractibility, unreasonable enjoyment); one gains access to a knowing of their deepest self beyond the conscious experience of our thinking, feeling and sensing mind. Such awareness nurtures our own wisdom, compassion, and concentrated well-being.
One-on-one, 50 minute weekly sessions are offered at $75 per session. Sessions are available in person or online. Couples, pairs or small groups please inquire about special pricing. To gain the most from your practice, one is encouraged to commit to a daily practice of at least 20 minutes a day.
Contact Don at [email protected] or cell: 401.500.5990 to take your seat and book your first session.

As a leader of meditation circles and teacher of zazen meditation since 2020, I bring a clear, calm and compassionate presence to our practice.
